The Mission:
Here at DCYOU our mission is to "Encourage", "Empower" and "Enlighten" you to become DEDICATED to a lifetime of learning, DETERMINED to succeed at every level in life and DISCIPLINED to overcome failure, obstacles and challenges.
We aim to do this by offering a variety of unique, socially relevant "in-assembly" workshops & presentations for: schools (grades K-12) / community events / businesses / church groups (youth - adult) and detention centers. As well as, offering award winning motivational speaking, 1 on 1 counseling, group counseling and mentoring sessions.
We are based and operate out of Toledo, Ohio (NW Ohio SE Michigan area). But DCYOU is also a mobile outreach organization and we can come to you. At this current time (ALL FEES ARE NEGOTIABLE) for 2021 sessions & events. Certain days and times may not be available, but we will try our best to accommodate accordingly.
School assemblies & presentations:
Initially, we will facilitate through an in school assembly presentation (FOLLOWING ALL *COVID GUIDELINES & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS), but would be willing to facilitate services throughout the school year providing year round services to your at-risk, academically and behaviorally challenged youth. Our target goal through these assemblies, 1 on 1's, small groups and presentations is to pro-socially help students enhance their self image, encourage positive pro-social life choices, eliminate bullying and other forms of discrimination and challenge students to be the best versions themselves that they can be and reach their absolute highest learning potential.
DCYOU is extremely passionate about the success of each and every student as they transition and advance in life. Instilling in them that you have to "work hard to make life easy, because it's way to easy today to make life hard". Workshops:
Businesses
These workshops focus on workplace morale and being consistent in your identity by helping you to know who you are (Vision), know where you're going (Direction) and know what you're doing (Purpose). These are collaborative, interactive TEAM building workshops that promote professional and positive relationships within the workplace.
Churches
We offer youth and adult spiritual enrichment TEAM building workshops focusing on the 5 general aspects of salvation: faith, love, hope, trust and believe. These are collaborative, interactive TEAM building workshops that promote vision, direction, purpose, relationship, discipling and outreach.
Detention Centers
These workshops focus on helping youth make better pro-social choices, by utilizing their rational and cognitive age appropriate thinking skills. These are interactive workshops that utilize socially and culturally relevant topics to plant seeds of accountability, responsibility, clear perspectives, respect and empathy.
